Dead Body Music marked a small but significant evolution in style for Gardens of Gehenna as they began to incorporate some elements of industrial music into their gothic death/doom framework. The synthesizers are more prominent, adding to the band’s mix of gothic tones with slightly more industrial effects. Overall DBM represents an important  milestone in gothic metal that sounds like a more electronic Paradise Lost or early Therion.
